This is the sunflower that came up this summer unexpectedly in my yard. I feed the doves and other birds chicken feed and birdseed and that has sunflower seeds. I also have a few mice that eat all of that and so these seeds get carried along….

For this art by Wooden Flowers I used watercolors. I tried to think about famous painters and how they would paint it so I used the small plastic spatula to etch in the brown grass, vertically. That was my shout out to all of them. That’s all I know.
