Yogurt made at home by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

1/2 gallon milk heated to 175 degrees.

Put in freezer to cool down to 110 degrees use a candy thermometer as shown in the picture

Blend 1 cup of plain yogurt with 3/4 cup sugar and 1 packet of Knox gelatin right before adding to the cooled milk

Add that to the milk and blend with a stick blender or food processor or with beaters

Put into a barely warm oven around 110 degrees for three hours then put into the freezer for at least 3 more hours, or overnight.

I left mine in overnight and it didn’t freeze!
