Hello! I thought the word infrastructure could be a good word to look up. This word can mean something a little different depending on what category or subject you are talking about. I chose the Cambridge dictionary this time. I like this dictionary! I have a big brown one that I received from thriftbooks.com. the entries are a little more old school and not so modern. I have found that some dictionaries will have different meanings for the same word. I did NOT realize this and thought ‘how could this be??’. I complained to one of the online dictionaries one time and told them what a regular dictionary had for that same definition. I felt that the meaning was sort of lost in the “new” meaning! They replied back but they blame shifted this issue to another department. figures. sometimes even the dictionary will fail us. I look back and I have humor about it.
