So I figured I would have this word ‘figured’ as the word of the day. I opened the dictionary and there it was! So, I figured I would share it with you. Did you know that the above sentences are not grammatically correct! What about the word ‘grammarily‘ ? This word is not a word! The correct word is ‘grammatically’ not ‘grammarily’. Let’s get back to the word ‘figured’. Sometimes I worry about how many people read my blog and wonder if I somehow earned a college degree, and I wonder that for myself as well! It is a social work degree, so that is my excuse for nothing being written correctly. Random periods and run-on sentences make up my whole blog! I seriously have lost track of this post. Ok, so the word ‘figured’ I think is being used as…a figure of speech?? In this picture it has the definition of figure and further down is the definition of ‘figure of speech’. Does anyone else not understand the last part of the definition for the word ‘figured’?
