The word I picked was in the same book as the other word I was thinking of writing about. This word applies to real life more, I think. Though it is an unfortunate situation and very depressing but a promise of payment. A person can find this form to sign when applying for a loan with studentaid.gov through the school of their choice or at lease just somewhere to go that has some classes that none of us really care about in order to get some random degree so we can say that we have one. Then we can say that we took classes that do not apply to this degree what so ever. I was thinking about a class like on-line macrame, do you think there is such a class? I believe this talent went out with all of the 60’s drama. I wasn’t alive then but I kind of think of it like that. I grew up later but early enough to benefit from seeing hanging tables and doors. I thought they were unattractive but my parents loved them I guess. When we moved we had to pack the doors. I always wondered what the next person did for a door since we took them away, our macrame doors. I remembered how you had to not move too much around the swinging tables or a person could get a fat lip accidentally from the table hitting you. fond memories. the word of the day is Promissory Note. The book that I took this out of is called “Mathematics Dictionary” the copyright of the book is 1959. I ordered this book from thriftbooks.com. Does anyone still remember call numbers?? this still had the check out slip in the back with student names from a middle school. the first date was May 20th, 1968! 9 years after the book was published. Also there was a date for 1988, 20 years later. I am not sure what to say about that.
Promissory note: “A written promise to pay a certain sum on a certain future date, the sum usually drawing interest until paid. The person who signs the note (the one who first guarantees its payment) is called the maker of the note (also see indorse).”
I wanted to say though that no matter what class we have to take it is definitely a benefit! and something to be excited about! those classes may be beneficial to us one day. I have degree in social work and I thought about getting an accounting degree and I had to take a leadership class and a marketing class for that degree just recently. Someday they will benefit me. I have now changed my degree to Criminology.
this picture is of my dog Mudge thinking about this chicken in front of her.
