When Did You Catch That Clue?
Thank you, oh person, for taking the time
to find that large catcher’s mitt intertwined.
The one that you gave up and sold
so that your accountability could be on hold.
Do not humor me.
I see your game
and I know your name
Because you cause everything to always be in yours
Well please put my gesture
of love up in your tree of life.
Wow where is the strife
and significance
of your stance?
Thank you for being in control and in charge,
but what if I don’t agree?
Because I would have done it differently.
Isn’t there any other way?
Don’t all roads lead us there anyway?
Didn’t you say that statement?
Then why do we all have to bow
to your will and testament?
You make me ill
with your habits.
Which one are you in this race?
I can’t tell because between us there is too much space.
There wasn’t enough lace.
Which color would you prefer?
Black but not white?
Or maybe it was too much white.
White is not invisible, it is still visible
even to the naked eye.
Maybe the lace was black and not white.
Oh, I guess you weren’t at my height and never will be that short.
I was unprepared for that new response
or maybe it was an old response that
I didn’t understand.
Remember that catcher’s mitt?
It was an old-world catcher’s mitt that was
signed and sealed with my lips and blood.
The one you sold,
or was it the other one that you tossed in the dumpster
just so you could have her
or him instead?
Who do you think that I look like?
A fish?
A bicycle?
A melting pot?
Don’t I look like everyone else?
Why do I have to bounce myself off of you in order to feel like myself?
Did you know that I do that?
You are not responsible for that miss-hap.
What do I not have?
Was something left out?
Is there a list?
Will I ever be a guest on your list?
Since you have moved on to more important measures.
More activities of leisure,
No accountability,
or books to read.
No manners, no respect, no regret are you now taught
or made to uphold.
No self-measuring.
Just my measurements are displayed
Do they try to fit into a measuring tape for themselves?
The people you now uphold.
Or is it the world’s measuring tape.
So large and loose and full of disgrace.
Is that the new gauge?
You are quite ill.
Is your brain shrinking along with your conscience?
I thought you were trying to gain one.
Oh wait…your clue catcher is the item of ‘disgrace’;
That catcher’s mitt
that went awry
Are you strong enough to keep holding them up?
Are you too responsible now for their woes and shrinkage?
Because they decided that for you, or did you willingly decide along with their side
of beef
that calls out in the ocean near that reef of displeasure
that no one knows about.
Is that the tree that fell?
Where is that well
for that noise to be funneled into?
We don’t like the wine,
the rest of us who abstain,
because we enjoy morality for morality’s sake. Thank you
Where is the book of answers?
Someone said that the book applied at one time.
Does anyone know?
Maybe I was hopeful and expected too much for too long and overstayed my welcome in that house.

Thanks for your post on this blog site. From my personal experience, periodically softening upward a photograph may well provide the wedding photographer with a bit of an creative flare. Sometimes however, that soft blur isn’t precisely what you had under consideration and can quite often spoil an otherwise good image, especially if you thinking about enlarging them.

yes, when I look at these pictures they are sometimes blurry when enlarged which is quite disappointing! especially when the expectation is that it is clear! very frustrating!

yes, and that is super frustrating! when you get a degree in one thing then years later it isn’t a popular choice anymore! I have a bachelors in social work but now I have to go back and I am going after an associates to be an IT specialist. It seems that getting loans and such is harder than it used to be!
