This bug appeared on my fence today! They are somewhat poisonous and very slow moving. At least this one was. I have only seen one other one several years ago in my yard as well but they are really scary looking. I tried to spray him with the hose to get him to be in the alley but he started just climbing up my tree. It is impossible to spray these bugs off of anything! They stick to whatever they are on really well. I felt sort of ‘deaf’ and woozy after being around this bug. It must be the way they attack things is to incapacitate them regarding their hearing. This is just a guess and isn’t proven, this is just how I felt. I assume that they live more out of town than in town, I hope. But now there is one living in my tree..,
