I just got one of the new iPhones that has new sized connections on their cords. It’s really hideous that they did this. So the old cords and old blocks do not work for it. You get a cord when you buy the phone but not a block!!! Apple used to give those to people, when did they stop?? Also, the old otter box phone case that I had almost fits! But doesn’t. So you have to get a new phone case, and screen protector, which is 50$. The case is more. So I bought a 20$ screen protector which was a nightmare and a waste of money. And I am using my broken otter box phone case just to get by for a while, I needed to buy tuna….and some beans. I guess I don’t need to eat, I just needed this phone. So the Verizon guy said something about Europe being in charge of the situation of the phone cords and connection sizes changing. Hmmm… Europe also uses the metric system of measurement! The United States uses the standard method. Or is it standardized? So what does that mean for the United States. This phone is the 16 pro max. I am not sure how long the connections have been changed on us. What if we also have to go to the metric system because of Europe?? This is my question! They use kilometers instead of miles right? Liters instead of gallons and so forth. Anyway I didn’t know that I had to buy a new block as well to charge this phone. IF YOU HAVE A USB CORD USE THAT INSTEAD OF THE NEW CORD. This will allow you to use the old blocks. Some people might not care but I have several blocks. It has the right connection for the new phone and it will plug into a block. also if you don’t have a block at all just plug it into your computer tower! Make sure the computer is turned on.

Plug your usb card into the computer tower that is turned on it will charge your phone without having to have a block.
