So…if your turn signal is out you can get pulled over by the police or you could have an accident because someone could hit you from behind. So make sure that your brake lights are working, turn signal lights, parking lights and highway lights are all working on your vehicle. I have a Toyota Tundra and this situation of my turn signal going out might happen more often with those types of vehicles? When my parking light goes out (orange light) then my turn signal, when turned on, will click exceptionally fast. When my turn signal does it means that it has gone out because it’s the same bulb as my parking light. I can hear it clicking but other people will not be able to see it. People may not care about an orange parking light or turn signal but a police officer might care and use that as an excuse to pull you over and it’s really unsafe! So I went to Walmart, no, they do not change light bulbs in their auto care area! They told me to go to auto zone or O’Reillys auto parts and they will install it. Hmmm… so the people at Auto Zone did not know what this situation is about…even though I gave them my VIN number! When you put a VIN number in it will tell these people everything that I have on my truck down to the types of bulbs. They had no idea, still, what I needed. They were asking me and then not believing me that this could happen… (and they weren’t especially nice!) so I left and said I would try to go someplace else. Next stop is O’Reillys, at least I was able to get the bulbs there. These two people were wondering if this could happen as well! Somehow the turn signal is connected to the parking lights! Toyotas are not sold in this town , so maybe that’s why?? And she asked her ‘Papa’ where to get these lightbulbs installed. Well Papa said for me to just find a mom and pop mechanic shop because they only install them at auto zone as a courtesy and they have to have someone there who knows how to install a light bulb and they did not! But I didn’t ask them to install it in the first place! Where?? I asked. “Wherever you can find one!” Said Old Papa! They really thought they were hysterically helpful. She suggested this other place down the street. So I went there and it was suggested to me to scoot around in their Christian bookstore while I waited. Anywayz…he put one in and charged me $20 but it came out to be $26. I asked if he did the other one too…? No, I left it on your console in that water…
