This is the river that is about 5 blocks from my house.
October 2025 by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art. I remember when I was married we had to move to Texas for a couple of years. I was hoping that it could be like Colorado, but it wasn’t! Anyway when we got back here, to Carlsbad New Mexico, they had drained this river. It was drained for several months! It was a ruination of everything! They were building a metal bridge across it to the other side. I have been on that and I will never go again. Thankfully they filled it back up. That was around 7 years ago…
Here is the metal bridge. Scare-age. That is all…it’s like a ride at an amusement park. It like moves UP AND DOWN!
