I printed out the first one and it looks purple because one of my printers is running out of ink so I used my other one. I was thinking about the subject of sustainable living when I finished this picture. I had drawn the birds and some of the buildings already so I just added the other things today. I already had these beads and I thought it would be fun to add random things that I had laying around as well. I found the drill bit that is supposed to be a water fountain that is in front of Baird the bird in a grocery store parking lot. Sorry to whomever dropped it and went back to find it, finders keepers…. I am not heartless most of the time! They could have found me because it’s a small town. But that would have been creepy. Anyway, for the small tree stumps I had cut those off of my tree limbs that I had trimmed off of my own tree. I thought they were so cute! The drill bit I used recently and never put back, it was randomly lying around. I am not a hoarder, I am just dis-organized because it’s the law of entropy. Right? You know when you clean and then this law of physics says it will eventually unravel without your control into disorganization. Anyway this is how it is. The lips in the sky is supposed to be one of those planes modeled after the Hindenburg. I had a random eye that I had cut out but my fan blew it into the lost area of invisibleness. That is where the other one went as well so I was stuck with the lips. I hid the middle under the drill bit so you can’t tell. So birds know everything I guess. Didn’t they train those pigeons to carry messages during WWI or WWII? They called them ‘carrier pigeons’. I believe they lost their job because of morris code or the internet so they became sustainable living birds with a very small footprint as they don’t use smart phones and they ride their bikes and wear helmets. They always come up with ideas and that’s why they have lightbulbs over their heads!
I used water colors. They become lighter/brighter/darker depending on home much water you use.
