More Doves have been coming around my yard lately which is so fun. They had been so scarce for a few months! I had some large bags of rice on my deck one day that had been eaten into by mice. They were there for a couple of days and then a few doves were pecking at them. I put some in a bowl and they really seem to like it. This was a couple of years ago. Now I feed them sunflower seeds, bird seed and chicken feed as well. I used to feed them in tubs but I wanted something cute to feed them out of so I bought all of these pretty bowls!! Usually people bake bread and pies in these, but I wanted something attractive for these birds. I wanted this situation to be cute instead of just using old metal pie tins that kept getting smashed. If you go camping it has to be a cute, attractive setting. We can’t go camping in someone’s cow field with random teepees, right??
