The colonies by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I was thinking of the situation when the colonies started. I am sure all of the historians will roll their eyes at me… but do you think that other ideas were being talked about when the colonies were being established? Ideas regarding the type of government that was going to be established. Or was it already decided before they all came over here to establish and populate North America? The idea that won was the idea of a democracy and having a democratic government. So that law was established for the United States. That is what won, not any other type of government. Then the bill of rights came about and then the constitution, which is just a continuation of the Bill of Rights. I was also thinking of the idea of ‘The survival of the fittest’ we learned about that in public school. Whoever is the strongest in society will win. Their ideas, their way of living. Our way of living in the United States is to support and follow the constitution the way that it has been written. That has always won! No matter what happens in between times, democracy for this nation has always won over the bad that creeps into our United States. Think of all of the bills that successfully became laws. Those won, they were voted on, that means that they are what’s important and what guides the United States. The government has 3 branches of government for checks and balances, right? We learned that in public school as well! Those 3 are there so that one branch of government cannot go rogue and do what they please based on personal preferences. So, a democracy is a part of that idea of survival of the fittest. The smallest, weakest links will be put down because it has happened for how many years?? Jamestown was established in 1607. Then in 1789 the constitution was ratified, put into being. That has been our guiding light since then, no matter who established them. If we follow the constitution as US citizens, then the people who aren’t US citizens yet will be protected as well. It all works together, the constitution supports all the laws, and the laws support the constitution. The law of entropy says, in general, that everything in order will turn to disorder. Will it ever turn back to order again based on the same law?? Think of a tether ball. It keeps going back and forth, raveling and unraveling over and over. Depending on how tightly wound it is it will cause the change faster or slower.
