I made this candle a few years ago. I used a mushroom jar. I used soy wax beads and melted them. I have this tree in my yard, juniper? I put some fresh juniper in the jar and then poured in the soy wax. Don’t forget the wick! I also did the same thing with some empty cans that had vegetables. They would be more like camping candles. These burn really hot, hot! The flames get extremely high as well but the hours that these candles have are doubled! Compared to regular candles! It’s because I added the juniper leaves. Are these leaves?? I did burn the glass candle inside but on a high shelf. I only burned the can candles outside though. For the outside I took a picture of this fabric that I bought online and printed it. Then I drew the boot from a picture that I found. I believe that I used double sided tape and taped it all onto the glass jar and the lid. If you just want a nice, tame candle just don’t add the juniper leaves, maybe natural rose petals? Candles, in my opinion, are expensive to make but some are easy, and can be fun to make together especially if you have something fun to put on the outside. When I made these I was thinking of a cowboy Halloween rodeo theme. Halloween is right around the corner! There are so many fun Halloween crafts to make!
