Sheet metal flower by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I used a leaf template that I drew on paper and then traced all of them with black magic marker onto the sheet metal. Cut those out with tin snips. Arranged them around the round center sheet metal piece and staples them into the board. I had painted the board white and blue and decoupaged it so that it won’t scrape off. When I stapled it I did it on concrete so the staples didn’t fold under which gave it that effect. (I didn’t know they wouldn’t fold under! It’s a stapler, right? Isn’t it supposed to completely staple things??) ok then I painted it. The stem was some the left over scraps from cutting the metal. If you attempt these please wear gloves! Oh and wash the sheet metal before cutting because it has a film of some kind of factory sludge on it. Just Roll it out on to the ground when you want to wash it and pour soap onto it. Use a hose to spray it and wash it with a broom then rinse, dry and then cut off the desired amount that you want. I listed on EBay under pinetr_5611
