I started school today. Algebra. And tomorrow will be some sort of language class. Why do I have to retake this class? I already took this sort of thing at a 4 year university and I guess it didn’t transfer to this community college that has semesters instead of using the quarter systems. I guess they need new cars and such. So now I am stuck taking this language class. She said, well it’s totally different…I guess I couldn’t complain or disagree. So I thought I could get the book today but the bookstore was closed. There were high school students everywhere here, running like it was recess and I was hoping to blend in…And there are only two other people in my class. Will there be more? I was hoping for a lot of people! Somewhere.
So today I found a few more people in this other class that I THOUGHT was a language arts class. It’s actually a computer class… that I really do need for my degree. So I guess they aren’t going to get that new car! Just joking… I sat in the back and was wondering why he was talking about Microsoft office in the language arts class and then realized that I am stupid and really never read the description of the class, and found out that my new contact prescription is wrong for one eye and it’s blurry far away in one eye and blurry close up in both eyes, because I am still near sighted. then the instructor thought I had the computer on but didn’t, then I couldn’t understand his accent right then while he was yelling trying to get me understand what he was saying, while the other students were staring at me, while I was confused as to why I should have had my computer on, because no one else did. Only the guy in front of me did, but he doesn’t count because he is one of those over achievers who has a lap top in class and who is actually following along with the instructor with his own laptop, who does that?? This is why I sit in the back…
