Remembering the 80’s by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I finally got these sheer curtains up onto my ceiling. I am going to screw some brown wooden lattices on top of that. I thought that would look interesting. I have a few lattices that need to be repaired anyway! I was going to get some ceiling tiles but they are expensive and I saw some at the hardware store. I didn’t like them because…I am not sure why. I have seen pictures of rooms with them and I really liked them! Super neat! Dreamy! I tried to pull the curtains super tight so they wouldn’t billow out. I don’t like popcorn ceilings, it makes me think of the 80’s. Have you ever been in houses where they have those frameless mirrors in the living room hallway and in the basement bedroom. The mirrors always have those diamond panels next to them or the people put masking tape over the mirrors in diamond shapes (interesting…). Or sometimes the mirrors had those gold designs factory placed on them. I had a mirror like that in my current home that I am in and I just painted over it with primer and put a normal mirror there. The popcorn ceilings were always there too. I always stared at them wishing for the furnace to turn on. Remember the large 80’s closet doors that were full mirrors that slid on the metal tracks? I guess people wanted to dance in front of them with those leggings with leg warmers and bangle bracelets while they teased their hair. Anyway, I wanted a design behind the lattices so I thought of curtains. I bought these at the dollar store.
