So I was envisioning a different color. I had white paint and I added dark brown and black. Purple is the color and I am worried. So I guess I will make it an accent wall. I am going to make a headboard. I am renting this space and a guy said he was interested. I was going to make it sort of like country because he seems like that. So now it’s going to have to be sort of modern because of this sad, sad situation. He didn’t actually say that he really wanted it so if he hates it I will just put it up on Craig’s list. I will not mention that it’s purple and distract him with my talking.
It doesn’t look too purple. Here is the gray/blue as well. I thought about this for a headboard but I don’t like it. I will change it tomorrow.
Here is the headboard. I cannot stand it but I only have like a week to go. It’s supposed to be more modern. Maybe he won’t care? I painted the boards. And that was the fun part.
So this is sort of done. I wanted to decorate first so that I had enough stamina to get the rest done. The other room that goes to this one is where the wall is that I am still completing. I already have it planned I just have to put everything up! It’s still been hot here and I had to remove stairs! But they are removed and I have the beginning of the stairs complete. I cheated and used part of the old ones. I have to cover it with other boards. That will be a kitchenette where the fridge will be.
I guess he isn’t interested now, so it’s back to Craigslist. I just have to get the other room done.
