Where could I begin with this three to four year experience? I really do not know what to do about it except pay it and maybe it will be a go away situation. Has anyone ever gotten vivint home security system? Do not do it, whatever you do! They said that I could get a camera that you can use to yell at intruders that are in your yard. Does that seem like something that could be available? They said that that’s what they were installing. Then I wanted another one and couldn’t get them to come and install one. Then they called the police when my own truck entered my driveway and the police o. was angry with me. (that is an understatement). Then it wasn’t working properly. Then there is this other gadget that comes in its own box and they wouldn’t install it after it came and wanted me to install it I guess. Then I had to replace a door that had a sensor and I wanted them to come and reinstall it but I would have to pay extra. I had to get a loan through citizens one and pay vivint each month. They did not tell me about that, yes I know I signed the paperwork on a tablet but like did he tell me that?? I got an email from them and yay I was approved. Thank goodness it is interest free, but I had to pay two different bills. The techs ruined my walls with the uneven and strangely placed plugs and holes that they randomly drilled. One of the sensors went out and it started beeping. They never told me about that. The camera wasn’t what I thought that it was it just made some sort of weird noise. You can go into the app and choose the noise but I don’t think that it worked. Then a month into it it started not working and it wasn’t what they said that it was. I asked them to take it out. One guy approved it and then he transferred me to some other guy who left me on hold after he said “well, uhhhh I will have to do some checking on whether we can do that or not 🫩🥴”. So I never was able to get it taken out, I was stuck with it. It’s been like 3-4 years of me paying it. During that time I got covid and could not go back to work and so I called them. Citizens one wouldn’t give me a hiatus from paying, vivint did for 6 months and I unplugged all of the plugs, every single one. Then they started charging me again at the 6 months time, but they had a rep come to my door and tell me that I was done paying and they shouldn’t charge me anymore. I signed something in his tablet for that. Then this started happening, Somehow they got my current debit card with Wells Fargo and started charging me and they started taking multiple payments out. I own a rental in Texas and they would pay me at random times and sometimes not at all. They only will talk to my ex husband about it not me and they won’t even send me the lease or any tax info but they automatically put it into my account. Did I already tell you this?? I claim that income!(update, they decided not to pay me this month I am guessing because they have not paid me yet!) Anyway so vivint would debit my account the day that I would randomly get paid for my rental and it would be multiple times!!!! Like 3-4 payments at one time! They did this multiple times. I emailed them and said to stop, I complained to my bank and it final stopped but they did this to me like 5-6 times. Do you think that they have a friend in the bank business?? Anyone from Colorado? Remember the radio commercial ad for the Shane company? Anyway, I still am paying citizens one during this whole time, but vivint keeps texting me and emailing me that I am 99 days overdue and they are going to cancel my account!!!! Please do!! Can they send it to collections??? I pay citizens one and the vivint rep said that I was done! My credit score was a 720 last time I checked so please don’t ruin my credit, vivint!
