This is my house. I put up the beadboard myself! Some people call it wainscoting. And the light in the living room which was sort of difficult. I bought things at thrift stores and painted it all to match. I like shabby chic and that is what I tried to do. I made the closet door for the shelves out of plywood and put it up with hinges. All of the bottles I saved and put a small amount of essential oils in each one and filled the rest with water. It was just an experiment but when I use them it is just as strong as pure essential oils! Somehow the essential oils multiplied within each bottle!

Also where the lattice door is by the stove used to be a laundry room, but I moved the washer and dryer out on the back porch and then built a wall so that made a walk-in closet that they are in for that room and there is enough room for a bed! So now it’s a third bedroom with a closet, so it’s officially a bedroom.

The door with all of the windows I installed myself. I did not put a door knob in because I could not get the door knob kit ti work for me so I just lock it from the inside.

Please don’t say I have too many decorations! I always never liked so many decorations in peoples houses. I really like minimalism. But then I went to the dollar store and became a hoarder of decorations.
