I did not get a picture of this mouse! But it ran through next to me as I was feeding my dog Poppy. Baby was eating elsewhere in the kitchen. This mouse was totally black, with black ears and a black tail. Midnight black! Small, 6 inches without the tail. I found online that they are called nonagouti mice. Or maybe it’s non agouti. It didn’t run as fast as I have seen mice run but it was definitely trying to get away! Poppy wouldn’t eat his food after that until I moved it away from that area.
