Mattie Marshall Art by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I have taken down a few walls and repaired some things at this house and when I did that I had several pieces of plywood that I kept. I also found these other triangles of plywood in my yard. I am not sure if they were pieces from…..I think these were from the insert that I had to cut from the plywood for the pergola. Don’t I clean my yard? Anyway, they represent trees, maybe at the North Pole for this Mattie Marshall Art. It’s a more modern depiction of the holidays. This will be extremely easy to hang, just screw it into your wall! I hot glued them onto the board. Another idea is to screw them on with bolts and use a washer on the back. Bolts don’t have the tapered end like screws do, and it would give the art a rustic look. Just drill pilot holes and then screw the bolts in. You could use cardboard and paint it and still use bolts. The great thing about that is that it would be very light in weight, not heavy at all and you could just cut the cardboard with scissors! No tools are necessary. Also, you can save it or trash it and not be sad about not liking it! Just save all of those boxes that you are getting in the mail and use those. They are free. And then the trees can be cut out from cardboard as well. It will still look 3-D. If you don’t want to use paint, just use white card-stock or copy paper. First, cut out all of the cardboard pieces, then trace around them onto the paper. Glue those onto the cardboard, now it’s white, or whatever color that you decided on! Now you can color them with pencils and crayons. Next! Take a picture of the art, without a border or with a border. For a border, place fabric under the Art around the whole piece. Then take a picture of it with the fabric showing, and print it. Next print it. Some printers have the option to print your pictures into a card-sized size. Glue those onto card-stock and fold into cards. Now you can have holiday cards that look super awesome to send to people. Don’t forget to label your picture, digitally, with some sort of app using really fun font!!!! Saying who it’s from. Then print it after you label it.

Or

Save all of the family art projects as pictures. Digitally label them and print. Then have a binder with all of those clear thingies to put them in to save. So when your child is going to get married you can put up all of the art that they did as a child onto a poster at the wedding reception.
