Describe a new company that I would launch:
I desire to launch a new company. I want to launch a Community Garden out of my own backyard. People will be able to have their own plot for a fee and other people in the community will come and buy produce from everyone who has a plot at the community garden. This idea is done in many areas that are rural and urban. I believe that this type of business has always been beneficial for everyone in the community. In the article by Raneng, Howes and Pickering they state:
“There is increasing interest in community gardens where people collectively grow food in cities, reflecting concerns about food insecurity, loss of agricultural biodiversity, pollution, food miles and climate change, among other issues.” ( Raneng & Howes & Pickering, 2023).
As the head of a new company, describe a blog topic that would be helpful for your company to attract attention and promote engagement:
I agree that starting and having a blog would support this type of business because I can build relationships through communication with people in the community. I imagine that the urban community gardens are extremely successful because people do not have time to drive to the country to find fruits and vegetables. I like the idea of living in a large city and having a business of a Community Garden. The blog topic that I would attract attention to would initially be about what a community garden is and why I am starting one in their area. I will talk about how it will be beneficial to them and how fun it will be to see vegetables grow that they have planted with their family. I will show pictures of vegetables and insects flying around the garden pollinating everything. I will talk about future blog posts about how to watch out for diseases that vegetables might contract and what organic products might help as suggestions as we will not be using any sort of pesticides in the community garden.
