Map of Coral Ms. 29 Elizabeth Art by MLW; WPA

For Ms. 29 Elizabeth’s art I used just these things. Some people might say that it is wasteful not to add a whole bunch of water to watercolors, but I like how vibrant they are without water and I like them with water too. I have added water to acrylic paints and it was sort of the same! What I did was perfectly easy, anyone can do it. The size of the brush is 1 1/2 inches but it doesn’t have to be that size. I wanted it to be bigger than a very small brush. Just put each color that you want on the brush and just dab it all over the paper, make sure there is no pattern, just glob it on. Do not wash the brush and add the next color onto the brush. Keep layering the colors on. Then when you have added the colors that you want, then add some water to the brush and dab it around. Leave most of it dry. Take another piece of the oil/acrylic paper and put it on top and smash it together. When you pull it apart you will have two paintings. Take the original wet one and find any more wet spots and press those into any white spots of the other paper that didn’t adhere to the paint. I added some flowers into one and some waves in the other one. Name it something fun.
