This is day 6 and kitty has come back after feeding time. I think she is pregnant. I was wondering about that for about a week before she left, but I wasn’t sure about it. These cats are sort of like barn cats as they do not get along sometimes, though they are her kittens. I tried to hold Kitty while her kittens wanted some attention from her but she was in a bad mood! Poor situation!
Kitty has not returned since that day. I held her and then she rejected her four kittens by hissing and biting at them. I had no idea that that would happen, I believe it’s been very traumatic for these kittens who she was always nursing. Why?? She was seriously THE SWEETEST kitty I had ever met. I have not seen her around the neighborhood…. Her kittens still show up each morning to eat and they are around my yard quite often.
These are all updated for this last week. They are really growing…
Kitty visited us today for a little while.
I am so happy that Kitty visited us today! I am extremely worried. She just showed up in my yard with her kittens one day. How did she get there? I assume someone who didn’t want kittens dropped them off. I moved them to my back yard which was sort of difficult. Kitty nursed them in my yard and had her family here. Now, has the original owner somehow found Kitty at night and taken her back to their house? Now she is pregnant again and where will she have these kittens. What are these people doing with Kitty? Do they have a male cat who has mated with Kitty? These people are unsafe people and I can do nothing for her except feed her. I feel that she and her kittens are mine…they have been here now for months growing up with me.
