Kangaroo mouse sighting by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

Today I saw the cutest little mouse jumping like a flash through my yard! It jumped just like a kangaroo. It was too far away to get a picture of but it was very dark in color. That is the closest I have ever been to one. They are so adorable! I wish I had been able to get a picture! I read that tray actually do live in New Mexico, I was very surprised. I was thinking they were elsewhere I guess.
