Should I be surprised?? I guess not. Why are we celebrating this? Shouldn’t this situation be a normal part of our daily lives? I thought we were equal. This is a travesty that women have this week of celebration. This celebration should be a normal situation not something to celebrate, but just a normal part of our lives. Maybe I am being Mrs. Scrooge? The embodiment of both Scrooges with this? I am out here in this horrible desert of oil field workers and it’s hard to find a job out here let alone in that industry where only men work. This is for many reasons! Men don’t like women encroaching on their industry that they feel that they own. It’s not that women are not capable. It’s just that men feel that they own this industry of the field of trades.
