easy cauliflower pizza crust recipe By Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

here is a recipe for cauliflower pizza crust. There are many of these recipes out there so if it is somewhat like yours please forgive me. I have made it before but I just guessed at the recipe this time and it worked well. I have made it before by getting the raw cauliflower head and boiling it then draining it and squeezing out the water in a tea towel but that is extremely time consuming but it might be less expensive. The only drawback for me is that it would just sit in my fridge getting brown because I wasn’t excited about making it anymore and who wants to strain things in tea towels??

1 frozen bag of cauliflower 12 ounces (oz)
put into a strainer while frozen and add two dots of soap and rinse it off to remove any bacteria and put that into a blender
with that add into blender 1/3 of a block of 2 pounds (lb) of mozzarella cheese cut into small pieces
wash three eggs after taking them out of the package and then crack them and add them in as well. just incase there is salmonella on the eggs.
make sure that you wash your hands before touching anything else because of the raw egg.
add in a 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp garlic and salt and Italian seasoning if you would like
blend all of that into a smooth pulp
pour half of that onto a cookie sheet or the whole thing lined with parchment paper
half of it fit onto my small cookie sheet that is 7 inches by 10 inches
make sure that the cookie sheet has sides since it is liquid it will run everywhere
or you could use a large glass casserole dish and line that with parchment paper.
if you want to use the whole thing it would cover a 14 inch by 20 inch cookie sheet. right now the normal size of them escapes me.
I baked it at 325 degrees.
once it starts getting brown take a metal spoon and flatten it out or smooth it out. it will rise up because it has egg in it.
then cook it more until it is really brown on top. the top will have a tough, shimmery sheen on it and that is good. because you don’t want sauce to soak into it.
take it out and let it cool and you can put it into the freezer for a while. it will get even more firm and dry. turn it over because there will be some moisture on the bottom that needs to evaporate.
then once its completely cool add some sauce and the rest of the toppings and bake that again at 450 degrees just to get it done.
I ate this with no toppings at all. It was so good because of the seasonings so that it wasn’t so bland
I don’t normally like eggs that much or cooked cauliflower but this did not taste like either one.
this is also easy to pick up with your hands if you make it into a pizza.
