If you have a mattress that you might throw away, use a solution of dawn dish soap and water. Soak the whole mattress with that. Then take full strength hydrogen peroxide and use the whole bottle for the whole mattress. Scrub the mattress with one of those scrub brushes with a long handle. let it soak and put a fan on it to dry it. Or take it out to the yard and use a hose with a strong sprayer and spray it down on the jet setting after you soak it with soap and hydrogen peroxide. It really works!! Then get a waterproof mattress protector for under your sheets. Those are washable and it will save your mattress.
