My dog baby was doing the resting pose this morning. I didn’t know that she was so stressed. I feed her and bathe her and she still wants to run away and ignore me at times. She has been very sad since last April when her best friend Mudge passed away suddenly. I believe it was Parvo. It was in the evening during a weekend. She had been sort of grouchy and then had all of the symptoms. I used to volunteer at a veterinarian clinic for 4 years. Ages 12 to 16. I lived there because that’s all I wanted to do. So I know some of the symptoms. I had gotten Mudge since she was weened from a guy who approached me at the park and his female dog just had, had puppies. I thought it would help Baby with her separation anxiety and to have another dog to talk to about her life. I have a choke collar on baby just because her head is as big as her neck so that is the only thing that works if I need to put a leash on her if I am outside of the yard. A really good lead to use when walking all sorts of dogs is something called a Gentle Leader. It directs a dog’s head and does not allow them to pull the owner by their neck which is much stronger.
