I have many ideas about what to make and do just to do art. Then I find that many people have already done that type of art and they look like they have done it since they were born. Then I wonder if I should still do it at all. Then I remember that people do not own types of art so why not do it anyway. It won’t be the exact representation of theirs anyway so it’s ok. At many stores there are many things that are for sale that look somewhat similar to each other. Like Christmas signs that say Christmas sayings. They are everywhere. Cheap ones are at cheap stores and more expensive ones are at more expensive stores. But they look somewhat similar. They are the same. That is allowed because no one person or company can own one type of art. So I guess I will do other things, more interesting versions of types of art that other people have done. Why not? Should I announce who did this or that and then show people my version? I have no idea. Do people care that much?? Again, I don’t know. But I have been wanting to do art with some joint compound for about 3 to 4 months or longer. Of course I look that up on Pinterest and…I shouldn’t do that! There are some amazing art pieces that people have done and that discourages me. I am happy for them! But then I never do anything. So I have avoided this. I will try it anyway.
