Microgreens by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I tried growing microgreens last year and it did not work. Before that it had, so I think somehow the seeds got ruined. Anyway, I tried it again this last week and it finally worked! I used the same process as last time with coffee filters and then I covered them with glad press n seal. You do not have to use that, but I like it because it sticks. I put some of them at this stage of growth into some of the sourdough flatbread that I make. The recipe is on this blog. I hope there is a search for key words, you can just search for that. It is super easy to make. I put some of these greens into the bread dough and it turned out great, I could still see that the greens stayed in tact.

Some of these seeds are brown because they didn’t get enough water.

If you do this and you see beautiful, white, fuzzy roots….that is worth it! It’s just the best thing I have ever seen, these thick, white, fuzzy roots. Lovely. Btw, it isn’t mold!
