here is an easy gravy recipe
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of flour
melt the butter stir in the flour until its dissolved
add in some minced garlic
salt 1/4 tsp
stir until it becomes a paste
Then gradually add in broth 1/2 cup at a time and stir after each 1/2 cup that is added to make sure there are no lumps
keep going until it is the kind of gravy that you like.
When you take this out of the refrigerator it will be coagulated so just put it on low and add some more water but not flour.
you have to add the butter and flour first together so that you do not taste the flour in the gravy.
If you want white gravy substitute milk for the broth and follow the rest of the directions. You can use white gravy on top of chicken fried steak.
