I was thinking today that just this summer is when I have seen the Mississippi Kite in this area. I read that they actually do live in New Mexico but I haven’t seen them here. But maybe I haven’t been observant enough! So maybe they have been here but they have been more visible to me lately around my house. So maybe they are nesting in this area? I hope that it will be successful for them. This video has two of these birds. They both have the same call but they have different coloring. One is mainly white. I thought that was a strange color for the summer out here. Maybe these birds don’t change color for the winter/ summer months.
A plane decided to fly over head. It didn’t seem to bother them I guess they were ok with it.
