So I haven’t been able to rent any rooms lately! here in New Mexico. one of the guys still lives at the house so he is going to help me find people and I am going to pay him 12% instead of using a property mgt company. I have used those people before and it hasn’t turned out the greatest. I have a house that I own out of state (Texas), and this rental situation was set up with an unknown property mgt company, unknown to me! They talk to my ex-husband and they won’t tell me who they are and sometimes I have not even received the rent. when I do it’s always much lower than I think that it should be. They direct deposit it into my account under TRex Global. They won’t send me the contract or tax info so I end up having to claim it in a different tax category. It’s sort of the same, I put it under rental income but I think that it would be different somehow if they sent me the information. For about 4.5 years I have not known where my ex-husband has been, I have only known his P.O. Box so I can’t ask him any questions about anything! Stupid! Anyway our divorce lawyer won’t talk to me either, the woman in the office wouldn’t let me talk to him or set an appointment and told me I had to find my own lawyer! Where?? I talked to one of the online lawyers and they told me to contact Texas and still charged me 45$, twice. I wonder who in Texas? I did! I contacted a lawyer in Texas who never called me and some sort of Odessa association of realtors, rental something or other with no response. I have no idea what to do! I wonder what my house looks like in Texas! Is it still standing?? I don’t want to go by myself! To my house and then who is this rental company?? Who rents this house? And why am I not getting the whole amount?? Who is taking the rest? Or is the property mgt company renting it to one of their friends??

So this guy advertised on Facebook marketplace. I am not on Facebook, but I used to be. It was more competitive than I liked and I was on there for around 10 years. Anyway this was super fun! I had an excuse to call people after he would tell me that they were interested, dress up and show these rooms to people and then collect money. Right on! I got all of the rooms rented! And I give him 12% of the rent, totally worth it.
