It has been forever since I have wanting to know about this bird. Finally today I figured it out! I sometimes hear this bird call around my house without seeing the bird because it is probably hiding in a tree. Lately I have seen this bird flying around my house but I could not figure out what it was. Today I was able to take some pictures but I couldn’t get a very good one flying! I was walking my two dogs and trying to get them to walk like normal people do! And then of course there is the bird, right?? On the power lines down at the corner, oh and other ones just flying! I have my dogs yanking one arm while I am holding the camera with the other up in the air . Luckily my camera was working instead of being a black screen this morning!! so I got a few pictures but not as many as I wanted. I heard the bird call and so I was able to match that to one that was posted on YouTube for the Mississippi Kite. This bird is extremely beautiful! Some of these shots are screen shots of other pictures that I took in the ‘live’ setting on my iPhone.
