Lady by Mr. Letter Opener by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

Knife, Fork and Peas.

Does anyone know how to find the railway? Where are you miss? Where have you been in my life? I have searched, gigglemug, for a wife. will you do it? Just for a bit? Do not absquatulate yourself from me. Are you my clap trap? I’ll take you to see the elephant. Then after, you can chicago me. ‘Some pumpkins’, you say? I guess I will have to tell you a thumper and hornswoggle you into liking me again. That is always how it’s been with you and me, me and you. You entrap me to your satisfaction into your fun and your extraction. I like all of these matters. Let’s wake snakes. Poem by Mr. Letter Opener, written secretly to his love that is coming in on the train. He never knew how to talk to her about what he really wanted. This is what he always wanted to say to her, how could time have gotten away from him? He knew they wouldn’t be able to go see the sights and have fun together. He wondered what she thought of him, maybe he was too young and she too old? Maybe decisions had already been made and how could he change them? By Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art
