Word of the day: Double Dutch Jump Rope by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I remember on the playground that we would always play double Dutch jump rope. It was extremely fun! Much more fun than just regular jump rope. If you don’t have jump ropes that are long enough then you can just use rope or tie several together. Two people have to stand really far apart and they have to alternate the two ropes so that they twirl it into each other going the opposite way outward or inwardly moving them. Then a person has to fly in and start jumping in the middle so that he/she jumps over each rope. Completely fun. Cement is best so that the dirt doesn’t hit you in the face!
