My poor rose bush! By Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I just bought this rose bush from the hard war store 2 days ago. I bet you are wondering why? Just look at it, person! Can’t you tell that it’s almost dead? Well it’s just that…this was the best one there! All of the rest looked worse than this one! And I loved the color. The buds were horrific but the leaves were mostly green. But now the leaves are turning hideously brown. It must have a disease, maybe? I am so sad. So I am going to water it all day and give it some cell food. It’s not fertilizer because I don’t like fertilizer. But I have given plants that were almost dead a couple of drops of this in some water and it really helps, but that is only my opinion and it worked for me. I use maybe 5 drops in 1 gallon of water. I also use coffee and that is a lifesaver as well. People can take cell food as well and it talks about in the directions for people to use it and it doesn’t mention plants at all. But I have been desperate to find something to help dead plants that have been sent to me before. good luck!

A few days later… as I am still trying to keep this rose bush alive I notice many more cobwebs. I have moved this inside into my mock greenhouse in hopes of keeping the overspray of weed killer off of my roses that might be flying in the air from other yards. I thought about that just now and I wonder if that happens sometimes! Anyway I saw the cobwebs and I remembered that these webs remind me of black widow spider webs. When I sprayed these with water they are highly resistant to being destroyed and the silk has a cross-crossed, uneven design. diamond formation of the silk. Last year I did not see them in my yard but the two years before I did. Highly poisonous! As everyone knows! I have destroyed them in my shed before and other places and I get woozy and some light soreness on my skin and flu-like symptoms. If you feel this way after being around them: take off your clothes, drink something acidic and go to the doctor. (Put clean clothes on before going out) it does help in my opinion. So I cut the whole rose bush down and will try to regrow these stems by throwing them in some water and then the stump will regrow new stems.
