Sudoku tips by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie art
Have you ever wondered how to play sudoku? Its pretty fun and I use it to organize my brain, While I am playing it other things will pop into my head and sometimes I can figure out how to do other things while I am playing it. Such as how I want to organize a certain space or how I want to decorate something. I do not know why but my brain just works that way. If I am worried about something I will be less worried about it later after playing it. A person has to figure out where to put the numbers in each box. I am not sure that there is one person who doesn’t know what this game is. It is completely easy if you know how to solve it. Here are some tips
I play it on my phone but you can buy the books at a book store with a bunch in there and you would have to use a pencil. Weird.

The game that I play has nine squares and each square has numbers from 1 to 10
there are nine columns that have numbers from 1 to 10
there are nine rows with numbers from 1 to 10
there are 3 rows of rectangular boxes made up of 3 small boxes in that row
there are 3 columns of rectangular boxes made up of 3 small boxes in that column

first look at each box then coincide looking at each row and column as well. Place numbers in each box that would not be a double number in any of the rows or columns that come in or out of the box.

Second look in each of the 3 rectangular rows of boxes that sit one on top of the other. Then look for number 1. You will need to have 3 number 1’s in that first top row of boxes. The same will be for all numbers 1 – 9 and all of the other 2 rows of boxes under that. There has to be a number 1 in the single top row and a number 1 in the second, single row of boxes and a number 1 in the third single row of boxes butt there cannot be a double number 1 in each box that make up the large row of boxes. For example if there is a number 1 in the top single row that is also in the top left box then look at the middle box next to it to find a number one. If the number one is in the second single row of boxes then a number one will have to be in the next box next to it in the third single row down. Then look at the columns of the other boxes. If any of those single columns of boxes have a number 1 then you have to not put it into any of those single columns of boxes. Find a single column of boxes that does not have the number 1 and place it into that single box. Do this for all numbers 1 – 9 and the other two rows of boxes that sit underneath of that first large row.

third look at each of the 3 rectangular columns of boxes that sit side by side of each other and do the same drill as you just did vertically but horizontally in the columns.

Fourth look at each single row of boxes going horizontally and vertically. The numbers are in order from 1 – 9. Fill in those numbers at the same time as looking at the single column or row coming in and out of the single row or column that is supposed to that the numbers 1- 9 consecutively listed. When doing that if there is a row or column where you could have a certain number in two different places, then look at the whole large box that it is in and see what numbers are already there. If there is the same number already in a different part of that box but not in that certain row or column you just don’t need that number in that certain row or column. That number will be in a different box elsewhere.

If you are trying to find out where 3 numbers go in a certain box. Try to figure out if two of the numbers for sure would go into two of those boxes but definitely not in the third box. Then logically the third number will go into that third box and not in the other two.

I know that I have made this really complicated and somewhat scary now. Just remember to not double up the numbers and pick the easy games like I do so that I don’t have to take the time to really work at finding the numbers
