A couple of years ago I wanted to try to make some ‘Day Of The Dead Art’. I really like that type of art. It makes me feel things from the inside of me when I look at all of that. I had drawn a skull from a medical book that I found at the thrift store for something else. I used that and then I had some old fabric that I used for the dead woman’s dress. The pic of the bird is one that I took of a grackle sitting on an electricity wire and then the bottom of a plastic bottle and some sheet metal for the flower. I think the idea of that holiday is that only once a year the dead get to visit their loved ones. In this story they are both dead. I think she got old and died waiting on this guy to show up. Even after we are dead it will be like this I guess. Waiting for love, and then we disintegrate into powder waiting on nothing. Anyway….I got off track. I think I fell asleep! I think that’s why people turn into adrenaline junkies. They had to find something to do!
