Outdoor decor by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I really like mid century modern decor and furnishings! I looked up this on Pinterest and found many examples of what that looks like for outdoor decor. I already had these items!

And I will cut that bush out front! And I am going to find an example of a mid-mod door that I can add on to the front.

I took out the bush with an edger and I am looking for my tree trimmers to get the rest of the limbs out. There was a wasps nest under the leaves and they have never been evenly sized!

I think the style of my windows currently is Edwardian?

This is more of a description of mid century modern. It does say that mid modern has open floor plans. Does anyone disagree with that? I do, but maybe I am misunderstanding the meaning of that. Unless in Europe, the mid-century modern architecture style had open floor plans from the beginning because they had larger houses, but I don’t think that mid-century modern would be the same in America. Because I’ve always lived in older houses that did not have an open floor plan. Open floor plans with the open kitchen were not around before the last 15 years here in America so that’s why I don’t think that it applies for a mid-century modern for America. in my opinion. Maybe they are referring to the word ‘spacious’ but said ‘open floor plan’ thinking that it was the same. When I think of houses in Europe I think of large and spacious but that isn’t the same as having an open floor plan. There were two men at the end of the article that are given the credit for mid-century modern, but I didn’t include them here in the picture because you know how men like to take credit for everything that women ever did. The end….
