Natural cleaner by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

Since I have been juicing I have a lot of leftover vegetable pulp. Today I decided to put it all in a pot and boil it and strain it to make cleaning solution. I believe this could help me with my allergies during the boiling process! In 2003 when I was married, for our first Christmas we had a real Christmas tree. I don’t remember where we got it but we lived in Colorado (wait I do remember) I want to say it was from a glorious expedition of going to the local tree farm but it was a gift from his parents. Maybe it didn’t fit in their house so we shoved it into our apartment! I had forgotten that I am allergic to evergreen trees but I guess my mother in law knew that I was. I had a conversation with my mother who told me that my MIL had asked her if I liked real Christmas trees and my mother told her that I was allergic. (Fast forward) So, MIL, how could I say no to a real tree right?? She said that it would please her if we took it. (I had no idea that they had this conversation until later) So I boiled water all day just to be able to breathe. This helped the allergens to be heavy with water and fall to the floor, I am guessing, because it worked. I never told my MIL that I had that conversation with my mother! So, when I boiled all of the vegetable pulp today I was reminded of that. I added the vegetable pulp from juicing to my boiling water and it helped my allergies. I strained the pulp through a wire mesh strainer several times so that if I added it to a spray bottle it won’t get clogged, HOPEFULLY! I did this twice with the same pulp and then smashed it down with a pot while straining them.

When I juiced today I had oranges, lemons, beets, celery, kale, apples 🍎 apples 🍏. I boiled the peels in water and then ground that in a food processor. I then added in the rest of the vegetable pulp that came from juicing.

When I juiced I had enough to fill the blue bowl on the left in this picture, so that is how much pulp that I had.

You could add water to this to make it less concentrated. Maybe I could use some as an astringent?? I thought about giving the rest of the boiled pulp to my dogs but since I juiced it and boiled it twice there may not be enough nutritional value.
