Ingenious! By Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I saw these on Pinterest! I had never thought about it but I have lived in a few trailers and mobile homes and double wides in my life! This is such a good idea. I am wondering if a person could do this for a house? If you wanted to insulate your house better or just put on different siding without removing the old ones! Right?? I have been thinking that I wanted to blend the exteriors of the pergola that I just built with the other part of my house so they would have sort of the same exterior

Aren’t these completely awesomely like such a good idea??? Sorry I just took screenshots so it has other random things but just look at the rest. So you could just put that frame up and then put on different siding onto the frame with more insulation! OMG! I know that when houses are insured they ask what sort of siding that you have, could you say either or? If an insurance person comes out to check your home though what would they say? Can you say that you have both sidings because the original one is still in tact. Then the one on the outside is just a ‘decoration’ like the rock siding that you can get at Amazon that just goes on top of the original siding. If the outside siding is better you could say that you have both. Right?

Some people already know what this is.

Interesting! So siding is a version of cladding. And yes they said to just add the exterior material to the frame! It looks like the cladding frame is made out of furring strips. I wonder if a person could find straight, untwisted ones…not the hockey stick style. I did this on the porch/ pergola that I built and added it to my house

I have more videos about it in my post “a porch”
