I was at Walmart and thought that I wanted some lightbulbs with 1600 lumens but I didn’t! They were almost 20$ for 4 of those! So I decided to be in the dark and get lightbulbs with 800 lumens. I believe they were $10 for 4. I guess I don’t need that much light. I just wanted something free…that’s what I accidentally said to the drive through person at McDonald’s. Yes I know I can’t eat there but I wanted fries and my dogs wanted cheeseburgers. So I ordered water but she said that they only have bottled water. So the free water that has salmonella isn’t available! Don’t we all know that? Anyway I asked her, “so you don’t have free water?” She said that no they don’t, and I said “oh ok well I just wanted something free.” I meant to say that I wanted the water free not just anything! Great! I thought, now I am one of those annoying people that they disregard all together right away, called customers. So I got to the first window to pay and he took forever, like on purpose! Taking orders! So I asked if I could get some water just to see if it was true. He said like a cup? I said, “yes and she said that you only have bottled water”. He said that maybe only carbonated water was coming out. I thought that didn’t make sense. I said, “no she said that you only have bottled water and are you going to be like Burger King and charge for water now? He just said, have a good night ma’am and closed the window. Ok well…so I went to the next window and the guy just gave me an I don’t care look and gave me my order. The fries were cold and the cheeseburgers only had cheese and really nothing else ! Thank goodness they were for my puppies. I sent the corporate office a complaint! Maybe I am spoiled! Maybe I can afford 4 lightbulbs and don’t have to cart around one lamp with one lightbulb that I found in the trash because lightbulbs are too expensive or I can go to McDonalds and buy cheese burgers for my dogs, but I have to rent out rooms in order to do that! Did you know that I used to work at Albertsons but this town is super small and they are all friends. I had received COVID one year while I worked there and they said for me not to come back. They said that I wasn’t fired but they didn’t want me to come back. And all of their friends at different stores told me that I could not work at their store as well. This is why I am always home or doing nothing. They gave me several excuses about why: I was too fat, too smart, lacked time management, changed things, they didn’t like me, I don’t smoke, don’t drink, I don’t know how to please people, I am too out going, too arrogant, too ugly, etc…they really said these things to me, and other things that I will not mention. Customers would complain about me to management and say that I messed up their order on purpose. Then later management would tell me that they planted that person so that it could be falsely documented under my name so that I could never get a raise. This is this town. I am from Colorado! People are nicer there and it really is like living in the twighlight zone of craziness here. I am stuck in this town! Anyway, I am sure I am not the only one this has ever happened to…has this happened to you? I didn’t know that it was possible. Maybe I am oblivious to other people’s tragedies?
