Juicing by Margaret Leora Workman; Warponie Art

I decided to start juicing. I used to when I had a different juicer, it was nice and my friend wanted it so I gave it to her. Then I got this one and I would NOT suggest getting it.

The bottom of the plastic where the fruits and veg go will be ground up by moving parts. it was $113 at Walmart. I drank the juice anyway, I hope that I didn’t ingest plastic!! It has been two days and I have had 4 juice concoctions and way less calories because it has made me feel super full! Using a blender isn’t the same but it’s better than not having a fruit/vegetable drink. When I make smoothies I usually add stevia and lime juice. Yes I know the sugar part is really hideous, but I admitted it. I remember going to smoothie shops when I was younger and people would ask for sugar in their smoothie…and I thought that the workers shouldn’t allow them that. I wanted them to say “uhhhhmmmm noooo”. But now I do that. I worked at a coffee/smoothie shop in college and a few people would ask for sugar and I would conveniently forget, “Oh my gosh! Did you add sugar?” “Oh…I don’t think we have that…sorrie”. Never mind that it was right behind me.

I have used cucumbers, basil, spinach, cilantro, dandelion root, kale, whole carrots (not baby), turmeric root ginger root, oranges, Lemons, green apples.

About 2 to 2.5 cups per time. Drink that all, right away! I read that if you wait to drink it, the nutrients disappear.
