Thank You For The Crumb

Thank you for the crumb
I guess you thought that would make my mouth numb
but remember I am not dumb.
My mouth is bigger than the bread you are feeding me.
Oh look there is a bee!
please do not be my enemy!
Sting this empty handed wanna be master who cannot see
I implore thee, since you are here
be a dear
and do this for me, oh sweet bee.
Again this mouth of mine is bigger than the small crumb of bread that you are serving to me.
Oh why can’t you see, why don’t you care?
all you do is stare
and wonder how I can be used for your window display.
But I have a brain that is connected to my mouth…
Do I have to explain?
I hold you in complete disdain
I am not made for a window display
unless it is my own.
So please take your crumb of illiteracy back
and add it to all of the others that are already on your own out of place
and dis-jointed back.
Where are you bee?
Please sting this paradigm of deformity and shame.
But who is to blame for this paradigm of shame that rides on these white washed bread crumbs
that we get fed from society that is crooked and in pain?
What ever happened to Thomas Paine?
