I wanted to get some ceiling tiles for my bathroom but they are really expensive! Today I saw this shower curtain at the store. I decided to staple that up instead for right now. I cut the top grommets and the bottom magnets off and folded it to fit the ceiling, then stapled. I am going to put some molding around the outside of that and then I am going to paint the whole thing. I can tear it down later if I don’t like it. The staples will stay in the ceiling but I can paint the staples to hide them. I bought a staple remover to remove staples in my other ceiling and that does not work at all. You would have to have pliers as well and it will rip small holes in the ceiling. It’s better just to paint them. You can use a dry paint brush with paint and just sort of dust the paint on instead of officially painting a ceiling! It takes way less time. Just make sure the staples are covered. It will look like a design.
I finally decided what else to do after that. I wanted it to be something that I already had it was really inexpensive to buy. I took blue fabric that I already had and stapled it over the shower curtain. I could still see the marks on the ceiling through the shower curtain, so I decided to cover the whole ceiling. Then I took sheer curtains that I bought at the dollar store several years ago and stapled that over the fabric.

I am going to add more things to make it look like a present!!! I an so excited!! See the strip that is going across the ceiling? I wasn’t paying attention to how it looked when I double layered the sheet fabric. It looks out of proportion. So I am going to use some sort of fabric to go over that and then down the middle, vertically as well. Maybe a ribbon and some wrapped roses!!! Yummy!
