Poppy the Pitbull is now almost 8 months old! And is now 60 pounds!! He loves canned peas and tuna and canned mixed vegetables. He likes dog food but he likes the vegetables more. He has done extremely well with potty training. He is the sweetest puppy I have ever met! He loves to snuggle with me…so cute. I read that they don’t get to full weight until they are two years old, so feeding him as much as he can hold is probably imperative. I stopped feeding him puppy food because it’s on the expensive side but I don’t think that I need it as much, and I started giving it to my adult dog and she looks like a huge balloon now! A Huge balloon walking…so now I have to make her lose weight. I felt too sad that she wouldn’t be included in his food situation! I feed him and Baby blue dog food. I was feeding them old Roy. They seem to like blue more but I don’t think it’s a big deal about what dog food it is, as long as it’s food! If I only fed him dog food I don’t think that he would eat enough. He still has puppy teeth so he likes the soft small food. On average I feed him every 2 to 3 hours now but when he was really young it was every hour.
